Tarpapel is a tool for turning an image into a printable, multi-page poster PDF. This policy explains what happens to information when you use tarpapel.org.
The poster maker reads the image you select in your browser. Previewing, adjusting, and generating the PDF happen on your device. The poster maker does not send your selected image or generated PDF to Tarpapel's servers. The image remains available to the page while you are working; you can remove it with the tool's clear control or by closing the page. The PDF is saved through your browser to a location you choose.
Do not include information in an image that you are uncomfortable keeping on your own device or sharing with anyone to whom you give the resulting PDF.
If we enable a separate analytics service, it may collect page-view and device information under its own privacy terms. We will update this policy to identify the service and explain any additional choices before relying on it.
We use the information above to deliver and secure the website, provide optional account features, respond to messages, and troubleshoot problems. We may share the minimum information needed with providers that host or operate the site and, if you choose to sign in, with the sign-in provider. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users. We do not sell your selected images or generated PDFs, and the poster maker does not provide them to us.
The poster maker does not retain your selected image or generated PDF on our servers. Information associated with optional accounts and messages is kept for as long as needed to provide those features, respond to requests, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Technical logs are retained according to our hosting provider's settings and operational needs. We use reasonable measures to protect information we hold, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
You can use the poster maker without signing in. You can clear the selected image, delete a downloaded PDF from your device, manage browser cookies, or contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights and may be able to complain to a data protection authority.
The site is not designed for children to provide personal information through an account or by contacting us. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us.
